I haven’t written for awhile because I’ve been on the road all week. It was hard being away. Jordan is doing well. She got a little sick from the chemotherapy this time around, but we think we can remedy the problem by increasing the dose of antacid. She only missed two days of school, and she’s back to her familiar ways.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Happy Birthday Jeanette. I am always here for you and can come down to So Cal anytime you need help/support. I have been thru this whole process with a good friend of mine named Ronnie. She was only 23 at the time. I learned alot being with her everyday for over a year during chemo and her cancer. This was in Reno many moons ago (like 20 years). She is happy and healthy and owns her own business in Reno. I gave her alot of foot massages and we both owned horses which we rode everyday. Dealing with a little girl such as Jordan is quite different altho keeping active and focusing on things she enjoys is therapeutic. I remember Ronnie asking me “why me” and I answered honestly that I did not know why. Anyway it was an experience that bonded us forever. She did use holistic as well as conventional medicine. I think the holistic medicine was more of a pyschological benefit. The chemo irradicated all the cancer. The treatment can be brutal but with the love and care of her family and given her age and fighting spirit, she will be like Ronnie who kicked cancer and went on to live a happy and productive life.
