Unfortunately, she did not go. The weather didn't let up and there weren't any seats on later flights. The trip is postponed until the spring. I think some people were a little shocked at how well Jordan dealt with the news. By the next day she accepted the facts and moved on. When I thought about it, though, I wasn't really that surprised. Jordan has spent the last six years dealing with setbacks beyond her control. I guess we've conditioned her to look on the bright side and move on. Now, she's excited to plan the rescheduled trip.

Postscript: She is handling it all pretty well--further proof of her growing maturity. Though she is disappointed, she's making the best of the day.
